Tornado Relief
Late in the evening of Monday September 4th, 2017 an EF2 Tornado hit North Robinson and continued on through Leesville up to Crestline. Leaving in its wake damaged homes, destroyed trees, and downed power lines. Many were without power for several days following. We praise God that no one was killed or seriously injured, and we give thanks that neighbors all came together to clean up the aftermath.
On September 24th we held a spaghetti dinner to raise funds to help our neighbors in this time of recovery. 100% of the funds raised were distributed to 25 local families that were affected by this disaster. We are grateful for the support of Colonel Crawford Lions Club, Cub Scout Pack 106, Thrivent, and First Lutheran Church of Galion for their help in coordinating this meal with us. We give thanks also for the over 300 people who showed up or sent in donations.
